Graphic Design - Print & Web
Franklin County Visitors Bureau is seeking a part-time, non-exempt employee for 24-hours/week.
Graphic Designer is capable of all levels of design, including varied print, digital, and video. Must understand technical aspects of design and able to work effectively using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Must be experienced in varied and multi-page document set-up, printing, web design in Divi, and video creating/editing. Must be people-oriented and must be willing to become knowledgeable about Franklin County tourism to become a contributing member of the visitors bureau team.
Core Responsibilities
Print & Publication Design
- Design, layout, and produce directories, catalogs, brochures, and multi-page publications using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; must have good technical design skills to ensure outsourced visitors guide printing meets proper formatting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage production timelines and quality.
Web & Digital Content Creation
- Build, update, and maintain webpages using Divi Elegant Themes within WordPress.
- Create visually engaging landing pages, event pages, and promotional content aligned with brand standards.
- Optimize images, layouts, and page structure for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
- Assist with digital campaigns, including social media graphics, email headers, and web banners.
Brand & Creative Support
- Develop graphics for social media, newsletters, presentations, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across print and digital platforms.
- Contribute creative ideas for enhancing user engagement and visual storytelling.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience in print and web design.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Demonstrated experience designing catalogs, directories, or multi-page publications.
- Good familiarity with digital marketing and social media content creation.
- Hands-on experience building websites or content in Wordpress; Divi Elegant Themes proficiency a plus.
- Functional creativity where design aesthetics are balanced with information to connect with viewer and bring engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
