Geology Field Trip: Your Backyard Geology

Trip designed to focus on the geologic history and topography of our region. Geared for families, the trip includes collecting fossils, minerals and rocks along with visiting geologic sites dating back as far as 160 million years. Includes a tour of the Black-Coffey Caverns. Opportunity to fulfill Boy Scout requirements or homeschooler project. Transportation by bus only, provided. Pre-registration required. Open to those age 8 and older.
