Birding for Beginners: Intro to Birding for Families

Calling all prospective birders. Are you new to birding but want to learn? Join Buttonwood educators as we delve into the basics of birding. You’ll learn how to use binoculars properly when birding and maybe spot some of our fine feathered friends like common warblers, finches or other birds. Local birding groups have spotted up to 60 different species in the park—how many will you spot? Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes. Program is free but registration is required. Limit 20. All ages welcome, but parent/guardian must accompany children. Register online.
