50th Annual Blue Ridge Summit Library Ice Cream Social & Book Sale

This popular family event features more than 5,000 books for sale (adults, teens, kids)! The Whistle 5K Fun Run/Dog Walk starts things off at 8 am. No fees or awards. Registration 7:30-7:45 am. The Wayne Band performs at 9:00 am and singer/songwriter Rich Fehle performs at intervals throughout the event. TimCo Magic/Tim Cantner magician performs at 10:30am. At 12 noon an anniversary cake will be cut and served free (as long as it lasts) to event-goers.
 
Other features include Ice Cream from Sarah’s Creamery (Penn State), Food, Drinks, Bake Sale, White Elephant Sale, Fire Truck Rides, Face Painting, 50+ Silent Auction Baskets, “Summit Stitchers” quilt raffle, Artists and Exhibitors.
