DESCRIPTION:This popular family event features more than 5\,000 books for sale (adults\, teens\, kids)! The Whistle 5K Fun Run/Dog Walk starts things off at 8 am. No fees or awards. Registration 7:30-7:45 am. The Wayne Band performs at 9:00 am and singer/songwriter Rich Fehle performs at intervals throughout the event. TimCo Magic/Tim Cantner magician performs at 10:30am. At 12 noon an anniversary cake will be cut and served free (as long as it lasts) to event-goers.\n\n \n\nOther features include Ice Cream from Sarah's Creamery (Penn State)\, Food\, Drinks\, Bake Sale\, White Elephant Sale\, Fire Truck Rides\, Face Painting\, 50+ Silent Auction Baskets\, "Summit Stitchers" quilt raffle\, Artists and Exhibitors.\n\n \n\nThe event is free and all proceeds from sales benefit the Library.
