Gallery 50 hosts opening reception for “Between Worlds” art show on Aug. 7

WAYNESBORO—Gallery 50 hosts an opening reception for a new art exhibition, “Between Worlds: Art from the Seen to the Imagined” on Friday, Aug. 7 from 5:30–8 p.m. at 50 West Main Street in downtown Waynesboro, PA. The evening will showcase the new artwork and include free refreshments in addition to live music from BBD Trio in the adjacent Music Makers space.

The 10 featured artists are Cindy Baker, Melissa Hook, Eric Hyne, Paul Ingraham, Brian Laurich, Amélie Lavenant-Wink, Toni McGraw, Mariam Memarsadeghi, Ed Ramsburg, and Anita Shively.

The paintings, drawings, and photography of “Between Worlds” span a spectrum of styles, from super realistic to totally abstract. Viewers can enjoy both detailed nature scenes and colorful imaginings—plus everything in between.

The gallery will also have new fine art and crafts by local artists available on the shelves: pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, books, and more.

Following the reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 31, 2026. Gallery 50 is open Fridays from 5–8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The exhibit will soon be available to browse and purchase on the gallery’s online shop at gallery50-aagw.square.site.

Gallery 50 is owned and operated by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro.
