Opening Art Exhibit Reception: Photos and Paintings and Prints—Oh My!

Strap on your ruby red slippers and come browse Gallery 50's new art show, "Photos and Paintings and Prints—Oh My!" The playful title encompasses the range of artwork that will be display from 14 area artists. The reception will showcase the new artwork and includes free refreshments in addition to live music from Dino Delray in the adjacent Music Makers space. The exhibit spotlights fine art photography, oil and acrylic paintings, and hand-pulled prints. Subjects range from wildlife and portraits to still life and landscapes. Featured artists include photographers Richard Amt, Denny Bingaman, Rodney Clark, Audrey Rouzer, and Andy Smetzer; painters Leslie McEntire and Emily Sloviko; and members of the Penn’s Woods Printmakers: Lynda Beckwith, Dawn Burgoon, Anne Finucane, Dee Henry, Brandii Kligge, and Garnet and Marti Yeager. In accordance with CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines, those who are fully vaccinated may forego wearing a mask in Gallery 50 and Music Makers. (If not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask.) Following the reception, the exhibit will be on display through mid-October.
