Liz Springer & Joel Newman playing at Music Makers April 8th. Liz Springer is a Wammie-nominated powerhouse singer who can also croon out the softer nuances of songs. Her singing style has been compared to blues luminaries such as Bonnie Raitt and Etta James, but is also influenced by folk, rock & pop artists. Joel Newman is an outstanding guitarist and singer who plays everything from blues and jazz to rock and funk.
