EXPLORE! Discovering Sunflowers
EXPLORE! programs are a series of outdoor adventure programs, designed for kids in grades K to 5. Students will learn all about sunflowers. They will investigate the giant flower head itself, learn about the seeds (and find out if they are edible!), and explore the life cycle of the tall flowers. In addition, kids will listen to a related story book, and create a sunflower sun catcher craft to take home. All program activities are outside. Sign up for one or all. Space is limited; pre-register at 717-762-0373 or via email at info@natureandcultureinstitute.org. Fee: $7 Institute member/$9 general public.
