Free program presented by The Institute in partnership with Tri-State Astronomers. View “The Green Comet” through big telescopes on two consecutive evenings—Feb. 3 and Feb. 4. The program is part of The Institute’s Naturalist Discovery Series.
In early February, comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF)—nicknamed The Green Comet—will be around 26 million miles from Earth—the closest it has come to our planet in the last 50,000 years!
Bring your own telescopes and binoculars if you like, or use our big telescopes. A rare opportunity to witness the beauty of a comet. The comet might even be visible without a telescope or binoculars. Free! For more information, call 717-762-0373 or email to info@natureandcultureinstitute.org.
