Antietam Humane Society Launches Round One Voting for Ales for Tails Contest

WAYNESBORO, PA – The competition is officially underway as Antietam Humane Society and Rough Edges Brewing invite the community to cast their votes in the first round of the annual Ales for Tails contest.

Now through August 31, animal lovers can vote for their favorite furry, feathered, and even farmyard friends as they compete for a chance to advance to Round Two. The contest features a variety of pet categories, including dogs, cats, pigs, ferrets, Highland cows, and more, giving every beloved companion a chance to shine. Click here for round one voting.

The top 10 vote-getters in each category will move on to the next round. Ultimately, the winning pet in each category will earn a unique honor by having its face featured on a can of Rough Edges Brewing beer for an entire year.

Community members can vote for just $1 per vote, with every dollar directly supporting Antietam Humane Society's mission of providing shelter, care, and second chances for homeless animals throughout the region. Participants are also encouraged to share the contest with friends and family to help their favorite pets climb the leaderboard. Cast your vote here!

Weekly vote count updates will be shared on Antietam Humane Society's Facebook page throughout the competition, giving supporters plenty of opportunities to rally behind their favorite contestants.
