Plant Health Care Technician
A Plant Health Care Technician at Bartlett Tree Experts is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and addressing the health care needs of trees and shrubs on both commercial and residential properties. Key responsibilities include:

Diagnosis and Treatment: Identifying and managing insect infestations, diseases, and cultural conditions affecting trees and shrubs.

Application of Treatments: Mixing and applying pesticides and fertilizers through various methods such as spraying, tree injection, and soil injection, adhering to safety procedures, label instructions, and state laws.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Effectively operating, calibrating, and maintaining equipment like spray agitators and portable spray tools.

During the off-season, Plant Health Care Technicians may also work as part of a tree care crew under the supervision of a Crew Leader.
Qualifications for this role typically include a degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, or a related field, or prior experience in the tree care or landscaping industry. Additionally, the ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are often required.
