More About the Authors:

William Larsh
I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and grew up in Perry Hall, Maryland.  I graduated from Towson State University with magna cum laude honors in 1984.  I worked my entire career for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 1984 to 2012.  I have been married to my wife, Cindy, since 1984, and have two grown children, Ethan and Mary, and three grandchildren.  I retired in 2012 and moved to Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.  I enjoy golfing, traveling, and spending time with my family.  I published a novel in December 2016, entitled, L’Archevêque, based on the true story of a French fur trader in the 1700s, my direct ancestor, Paul L’Archevêque, also known as Paul Larsh.  In October 2017, I published a detailed memoir of my career, entitled, The FBI – They Eat Their Young.  The book disclosed fascinating details of the inner workings of the FBI, as well as exposing a dark side of the FBI executive management.  My third book, Never Volunteer, was published by Blossom Spring Publishing in February 2023.  Never Volunteer is an amusing, historical love story of a savvy, street-smart kid from Baltimore, Montgomery “Monty” A. Culpepper.  It is based on a true story and love letters from World War II.

S. Villeda-Schaedler
S. Villeda-Schaedler was born and raised in Queens, NY. She has always loved working with children and has made a career supporting learners with special needs. She is bilingual and loves her faith, her family and culture, and trying yummy new foods. She lives in Connecticut, with her amazing husband, wonderful son, and playful pup.

Seth Holmes
Seth Holmes began his art business ‘Holmes Watercolors’ in 2021. Known for his whimsical 'architectural caricatures,' he’s on a mission to prove that buildings can have personalities too!
Seth runs an art gallery in Waynesboro, PA where he creates charming portraits of homes, pets, and people, and teaches classes in a way that equips students with tools and the confidence to continue creating art.

Todd Dorsett
Todd Dorsett, of Waynesboro, has made local history and genealogy a lifelong study.  He graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University, majoring in Political Science, and holds the Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.  In 1983 he founded the periodical Antietam Ancestors and edited it for seven volumes.  He also edited two volumes of Kittochtinny Historical Society’s Papers Read Before the Society.  He has written numerous regional and genealogical articles, monographs, and booklets.  Since 2010 he has been executive director and editor of Antietam Historical Association, publishing Waynesboro As We Knew It, Waynesboro During the Civil War, The Proceedings of the Potomac Street Irregulars, Antietam Heritage, Kenneth Peiffer’s Trail of Terror, Stephen Kulla’s The Vanishing Dice Murder, Green Hill Cemetery: Stories of Waynesboro, and Sylvester Snyder’s Waynesboro.
