Green Hill Veterans Day Service

Green Hill Cemetery will sponsor its annual Veterans Day Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at the cemetery, 953 S. Potomac St., Waynesboro. The event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine.  In the event of rain, the service will be held at Otterbein Church, 912 S. Potomac St.
 
The guest speaker will be Rev. Steven R. Sheldon, a native of Waynesboro who served four years as a U. S. Navy Radioman (1972-1976). After 43 years in the ministry (1976-2019), he and his wife, Kathy, retired to Waynesboro.
 
The names of those veterans added to the Veterans Memorial during 2025 will receive special recognition.
