DESCRIPTION:Gallery 50 hosts opening reception for new exhibit on November 5 \n\n \n\nWAYNESBORO   Gallery 50 invites the public to an opening reception for its new exhibit "Faces and Places" on Friday\, November 5 from 5:30 8 p.m. at 50 West Main Street in downtown Waynesboro. The reception will showcase the new artwork and includes free refreshments in addition to live music from Drew Adams in the adjacent Music Makers space. \n\n \n\nGallery 50 curator\, Marti Yeager said\, "We are thrilled to have the work of five talented artists gracing our walls beginning in November. We'll also have plenty of new shelf art\, including pottery\, stained glass\, jewelry\, wood carvings\, and other fine crafts that will make for perfect holiday gifts." \n\n \n\nThe featured painters include Pam Wenger\, Cindy Baker\, Donna Barlup\, Claire Carnell\, and Warren Tracy Davis. The exhibit spotlights oil\, acrylic\, and watercolor paintings. Subjects range from portraits to landscapes to still life.\n\n \n\nThe CDC now advises that everyone should wear a mask in public spaces indoors and outdoors when not able to socially distance. Gallery 50 recommends wearing masks\, which are provided at the front desk.\n\n \n\nFollowing the reception\, the exhibit will be on display through mid-April.
